Built with a waterproof PUL backing and highly absorbent core, Lifesaver Mats lock in moisture to protect mattresses, furniture, and floors from spills, leaks, and accidents.

Reusable & Easy to Clean

Machine washable and made for repeated use, these waterproof mats replace disposable pads and liners — making cleanup simple, cost-effective, and eco-conscious.

Versatile, Multi-Surface Coverage

Use on beds, couches, changing tables, floors, wheelchairs, pet areas, or while traveling. Designed to adapt to periods, incontinence, potty training, pets, and everyday messes.

Built for Life’s Messes

The Lifesaver Mat is your go-to protection for period care, potty training, incontinence, senior care, and everyday mattress protection. Its dual-sided design pairs a moisture-wicking charcoal top layer that keeps you dry and comfortable with a hidden microfiber core that locks in moisture. Underneath, a printed waterproof layer stops leaks from reaching your bed and wipes clean in seconds. Versatile, durable, and easy to care for, it handles spills, sweat, and whatever else life throws your way.

Lifesaver Mat Sizes for Every Need

Lifesaver Mats come in four sizes, so you can protect your beds and couches from small spills to big overnight leaks.

The Lifesaver Mini (28 × 18 in / 71 × 46 cm) is perfect for diaper changes, pets, and on-the-go messes, and it’s just the right size for an armchair seat or a single couch cushion. The Lifesaver Original (28 × 40 in / 71 × 102 cm) is our versatile everyday size. It covers your side of the bed and comes along on picnics, and on an armchair it covers the seat and drapes over the front edge to protect the cushion.

When you need more room, the Lifesaver XL and Lush XL (57 × 40 in / 145 × 102 cm) span a twin or full bed, or one side of a queen or king. On a loveseat, they stretch across both seat cushions so the whole sitting area stays protected.

Our largest mat, the Lifesaver XXL (57 × 80 in / 145 × 203 cm), handles big messes and family snuggles with ease. It covers nearly all of a queen bed or most of a king, and on a three-seat couch it can span the full seat or drape over the seat and backrest for complete protection during movie nights, pet cuddles, and recovery days.

No matter the size, every Lifesaver Mat offers the same waterproof protection, cozy comfort, and easy cleanup on the bed, the couch, or wherever life gets messy.

Knowledge Base

Is the Lifesaver Mat a reusable waterproof bed pad?

Yes. Lifesaver Mats function as reusable waterproof bed pads designed to protect mattresses from incontinence, bedwetting, leaks, night sweats, and spills. The ultra-absorbent core locks in moisture while the waterproof PUL backing prevents liquids from soaking through to the mattress.

Are Lifesaver Waterproof Bed Pads machine washable?

Yes. These washable waterproof bed pads can be machine washed on warm or cold and tumble dried on low or hung to dry. They’re designed to maintain absorbency and leak-proof performance through repeated washing, making them a long-term alternative to disposable underpads.

Can I use them on beds, sofas, or other furniture?

Absolutely. These reusable waterproof mats protect mattresses, beds, couches, wheelchairs, car seats, and floors from spills, leaks, incontinence, pet accidents, and everyday messes. Available in multiple sizes — from Original to XL and XXL — they offer flexible mattress and furniture protection.

Are Lifesaver Mats good for adult incontinence or senior care? Are they discreet?

Yes. These reusable incontinence bed pads provide reliable overnight mattress protection for adults and seniors. Designed to look like a blanket or soft throw — not a medical pad — they offer discreet incontinence support while helping maintain dignity, comfort, and a clean sleep environment.

Can I use this waterproof mat for bedwetting or special needs support?

Yes. Lifesaver Mats are ideal for children, teens, and adults experiencing bedwetting, as well as individuals with special needs. The soft stay-dry top layer enhances comfort while the waterproof backing protects mattresses and furniture from damage.

Can caregivers use these for layered protection?

Many caregivers place Lifesaver Mats over fitted sheets as an added protective layer for quicker nighttime changes. While not intended as a transfer device, the durable design allows for easy repositioning and fast cleanup when accidents occur.

Do Lifesaver Mats replace disposable bed pads?

Yes. As reusable waterproof bed pads, Lifesaver Mats eliminate the need for single-use disposable underpads. They are washable, durable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly — reducing long-term expense and waste.

Are they comfortable enough to sleep on every night?

Yes. Unlike crinkly disposable pads, Lifesaver Mats feature a soft charcoal or plush minky top layer that feels gentle against the skin. They provide quiet, breathable waterproof protection without stiffness or noise.

Amazing!

This has saved me during potty training - it’s large enough to cover a big spot on the bed or couch but small enough to actually be portable. Deceptively absorbent. I love how cute the prints are and how soft the absorbent side is. I wish I’d known about these for potty training puppies and elderly pets.
